As probably many of us already know, Expression Engine has a new design. An awesome one that’s true … Responsibility for that was assigned to Jesse Bennett Chamberlain meaning 31three.

You can read the entire story in the Redesigning the ExpressionEngine Site article published by DigitalWeb Magazine.
Enjoy!
I personally did … I am always happy to see outstanding things done.

As a web designer I was several times put in the situation to edit files on the clients servers, as probably like most of those presents or implicated in this job. Well, here comes the FTP service which it is vital.
Is it uncomfortable to download the file which you want to edit, to make it some modifications and after that to upload it? Personally it happens to me frequently and most of the time I wanted the easy way, something like editing the files directly in my personal computer, something easy and comfortable for those who has disposal time and in the same time something certain and fast.

Today I was playing a little bit with Google’s Analytics and surprise … I found the 1st rip-off of my old website just replaced.
I am amazed they really didn’t bothered to change a pixel more than the logo ….
I wonder what you can achieve stealing other’s work. Probably few moments of glory … I really don’t know. See the screenshot and try to understand if you can …
What amaze me the most is that it (faixal.com) didn’t bothered at least to change my tracking .js file so I can see him in my stats .. probably he immagined that if he change the .js file the site will not work anymore … LOL

My old website started to be overwhelmed and very difficult to update a long time ago. Since I never had too much time to allocate for this task and customers were always on the 1st place, it was really a challenge to redesign it.
Well, after some hard times I finally managed to get it done. I use here a publishing platform, being easier to update and maintain my website but also allowing me to keep you posted about what’s going on. I only can say I am very happy at this point that finally the miracle happened, and now another challenge is on the way - maintaining the whole thing.
I am just satisfied at the moment by the fact I am finally able to make my first post, so … see you on the way.
Cheers!
